Upward Bound

Upward Bound is an excellent educational program designed to assist highschool students. Upward Bound is one of the many TRIO programs. It was established in 1964 by the Office of Economic Opportunity.Today there are over 770 Upward Bound projects across the United States. Upward Bound provides students tutorial support, classroom instruction, academic/personal counseling, mentoring as well as college preparation assistance with applications, scholarship searches, financial aid and more. Upward Bound also provides a Summer program for six weeks at Seattle University.
